Ambassador programme

Ambassador terms & conditions

Last updated: 27 September 2026.

1. What this is

The BeSkinny ambassador programme lets an existing BeSkinny customer earn money by introducing new customers. You share a personal code and link; when someone new buys using them, you earn a percentage of what they spend.

You take part through your ordinary BeSkinny account. There is no separate login, no separate portal, and nothing to install.

These terms form an agreement between you and BeSkinny (“we”, “us”). By applying, you accept them.

2. Who can join

You can apply if you:

  • have a BeSkinny account in your own name; and
  • are aged 18 or over.

Every application is reviewed by a person. We may decline an application, and we do not have to give a reason. Applying does not entitle you to join. You cannot take part if your account has been restricted or closed by us.

3. Your code and link

Once your application is approved we issue you a personal code and a link containing it. Both are personal to you. You may share them with people you know, and on your own social accounts or website. You may not:

  • pass them off as a general public discount;
  • post them to coupon, voucher, cashback or deal sites, or to forums whose purpose is collecting codes.

We can withdraw or replace a code at any time. If we replace one, the old code stops working immediately, including in links you have already shared.

4. What you earn

  • 10% of the net value of each order a customer you introduced places, for 12 months from that customer’s first order.
  • 5% where the order is a bundle.

There is nothing you need to keep doing to stay in the programme — no posting quota, no minimum activity, no re-qualification. After the 12-month window from a customer’s first order, that customer’s later orders no longer earn.

The percentage is applied to the net value of the goods — that is, after any discount your friend used, and excluding delivery charges and payment-processing fees. It is not applied to the amount shown on their receipt.

Your friend also benefits: your code gives the customers you introduce 10% off their first order. The code cannot be used on your own account.

5. When somebody counts as your friend

Somebody is introduced by you when they reach us through your link or use your code, and they had not already been introduced by someone else.

  • One introduction per person, and the first one stands. If two people introduce the same person, the first introduction counts. This cannot be changed afterwards, including at your request.
  • An introduction is recorded for the person, not for the order. Using a different email address, or several, does not create a new introduction.
  • A link is remembered for 30 days after it is clicked. A code can be used later than that.

You cannot introduce yourself. In particular, an introduction will not be recorded where you and the person introduced share any of the following:

  • the same account;
  • the same email address, including variants of one mailbox (for example you+1@, or the same address written with or without full stops);
  • the same telephone number; or
  • the same delivery address.

Nor will it be recorded where it would form a loop — for example, where somebody you introduced then tries to introduce you. We also check for patterns across accounts. Where we see signs that introductions are not genuine, we will look into it and may withhold earnings under clause 7.

6. Orders that do not earn

An order earns nothing where:

  • it was not paid for, or the payment failed or was reversed;
  • it was cancelled, or refunded in full;
  • it was charged back, or is later disputed with the bank or card issuer;
  • it was a test order; or
  • it was placed by someone whose introduction is not valid under clause 5.

Where an order is partly refunded, your earnings on it are reduced in proportion. Where an order is refunded or charged back after we have paid you for it, the amount is taken off your next payment. If that makes your balance negative, the negative balance carries forward until later earnings cover it.

7. Withholding and disqualification

We may withhold earnings on an individual order, or suspend your participation, where we reasonably believe that:

  • the introduction was not genuine, or breaks clause 5;
  • your code or link was shared in a way clause 3 does not allow;
  • the order itself is fraudulent, or is later disputed; or
  • these terms have been broken in some other way.

A decision to withhold earnings on a single order is recorded with a reason, which you can see against that order on your ambassador dashboard. It can be reversed by us if it turns out to be wrong. Suspending your participation stops you earning from that point; it does not by itself take away earnings you have already built up.

8. Getting paid

  • Earnings are paid monthly, in arrears. We check the previous month’s referred orders before releasing payment, which is why it is not instant.
  • You can take your earnings as store credit or as a bank transfer. You choose in your dashboard and can change it later.
  • Store credit is worth the same rand-for-rand as cash, never expires, and can be used alongside a discount code at checkout. There is no minimum to be paid in store credit.
  • Bank transfer has a minimum of R1 000. Below that, your cash balance carries over to the following month.
  • Earnings are calculated and paid in South African Rand (ZAR).

You are responsible for giving us correct payment details, and for keeping them up to date. We are not liable for money sent to details you gave us that turn out to be wrong.

Tax is yours. These earnings may be taxable income depending on your circumstances. We do not deduct tax and we do not give tax advice. Declaring it, where you need to, is your responsibility.

9. How you may and may not promote us

Read this clause even if you read nothing else in these terms.

Our products are supplied for research use only. They are not medicines, they are not food supplements, and they are not for human or animal consumption. When you talk about our products, you must not:

  • say or imply that they treat, prevent, cure or relieve any disease, symptom or medical condition;
  • say or imply that they cause weight loss, muscle gain, improved skin, better sleep, longer life or any other effect on a person’s body;
  • suggest doses, routes of administration, cycles, protocols or how to use them on a person or an animal;
  • describe your own or anyone else’s use of them; or
  • present them as an alternative to a prescribed medicine, or compare them to branded pharmaceutical products.

You must not pretend to be BeSkinny, or to act for us. In particular you must not:

  • represent yourself as BeSkinny, as our employee, agent or representative, or as speaking or acting on our behalf, without our prior written consent;
  • use our brand name, logo or trade marks — including in an account name, page, handle, domain or advert — without our prior written consent;
  • bid on our brand name or trade marks, or close variants of them, in paid search or any other paid advertising; or
  • set up any page, profile or channel that could be mistaken for an official BeSkinny one.

You must make clear that you earn something if people buy through your code or link. Say so in plain words — “I get a commission if you use my code” is enough. This is a legal requirement where you are promoting publicly, not a courtesy. You must not send unsolicited messages of any kind — no bulk email, no bulk messaging, no unrequested direct messages, no posting into groups where you are not a participant.

These rules exist because a claim made in marketing can change what a product legally is. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, do not post it; ask us at [email protected]. Breaking this clause ends your participation immediately and forfeits any earnings not yet paid.

10. Your information, and your friends’

To run the programme we record: your application, your code, the clicks on your link, who you introduced, and what you have earned. We show you how many people you introduced, how much they spent, and what you earned. We do not show you their names, email addresses or addresses, and we will not tell you who they are, even if you ask.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will — but we keep an anonymised record of what was earned and paid, because we are required to keep accounting records. Your code stops working at that point. Our privacy policy applies.

11. Changes, and ending the programme

We can change these terms, the percentages, or the payment rules. We will tell you before a change takes effect, and a change will not reduce earnings you have already built up. We can end the programme, or your participation in it, at any time. If we do, we will pay you what you have already earned, less anything withheld under clause 7. You can leave at any time by telling us; your code stops working, and anything you have already earned is paid at the next monthly run.

12. General

Taking part does not make you our employee, agent, partner or representative, and you must not present yourself as any of those. You may not transfer your code, your link or your earnings to anybody else. These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and the South African courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
